Meet Karla Rizo

Karla Rizo is a lifelong New Yorker with a genuine love for the city and a clear sense of purpose in everything she does. From backpacking through Europe and the West Coast to later serving in the U.S. Army, Karla brings optimism, adaptability, and tenacity to every transaction; along with the confidence to lead in high-pressure situations.

She represents sellers, buyers, landlords, and tenants with a steady hand and personalized approach, whether she’s guiding a first-time home buyer, navigating a tough co-op board, securing the right tenant, or winning bidding wars in a competitive market. Karla’s calm under pressure and straight-to-the-point style make her someone clients trust to advocate for their best interests from start to finish.

Outside of real estate, Karla is committed to giving back. She volunteers at Harlem Hospital with her certified therapy dog, Duchess, and as a veteran, she believes in supporting other veterans through the Valor Program, which helps those living with PTSD and physical disabilities turn their pain into strength.

Karla holds a degree in Sociology and Community Organizing from The City College of New York and is a proud member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). When she’s not working, you’ll find her working out, hiking, exploring Manhattan’s food scene, or chasing her next adventure.
